Hi my name is Kenny. I am a middle school student. I have been collecting since Cars came out. It was also my first movie-theater movie. I have approximately 2,500 cars in package, half of them being duplicates. My collection has grown pretty large and I am proud of it. My first die-cast car was Lightning McQueen, found at Super G's (old name of the Giant grocery store). They had a small display of cars and all of them were McQueen's. I don't remember saving any of the Desert cars, but McQueen, Mater, and Dinoco McQueen. I think I got those three on clearance. I know this message is a little late, but I didn't know there was a Member Introduction sub-forum when I joined.

Great story. You are right there with one of my sons (13), but he was never that into the diecast cars scene unless it was a yellow car!

I hate to open them, especially if they are hard to find. Some of the 2013 cars I was okay with.Kenny, age 13
